Teachers & Leaders
Having previously served as a teacher and instructional leader, I am interested in building practitioner capacity to provide high-quality instruction to all leaners, especially those historically excluded from it. Targeting psychological constructs like self-efficacy, dispositions, and beliefs is paramount to garner buy-in for instructional improvement. Then, finding the most effective pathways (e.g., professional learning, educative curriculum materials) to build skills is needed. Thus, I focus on such constructs and solutions in my work and consider policy and practice implications.
